Post-Production Systems Engineer (Chicago)

High profile media and creative agency with a global presence are

looking for an experienced and talented production systems engineer to take on

a senior role providing solutions and technology support to the production

studios and creative team. As part of a team, you will be working within a

fast-paced, lively and varied environment delivering new system engineering and

projects alongside supporting busy edit suites and production facilities. 

You will need to have a solid experience working to solve

technical issues within a studio or agency within the post-production / VFX

arena and be passionate and up to date regards the latest technologies in the

sector. You will have excellent knowledge of various OS including Windows,

Mac and Linux. You will have experience within windows administration

understanding Active Directory, desktop configuration and deployment. Your

experience will include in depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk

and VFX tools. You will understand CGI workflows with use of software such

as Maya, Nuke, Flame, Cinema 4D and V-Ray. You will also ideally have good

knowledge of infrastructure including high performance storage and

networking. 

The role is working with people across the organisation globally

and liaising with various technical and non-technical teams where you will need

excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role is office based

in their LA location.
