Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales for HPC / AI solutions – United States (Flexible location with travel)

Innovative and award-winning technology company who provide software defined storage solutions for high performance computing (HPC) and AI applications are looking for a talented, customer focused individual to join their Solutions Architecture team. The role will be working within the sales function of the business to understand customer requirements then design and demonstrate a solution before handing over to the build and delivery teams. You will need to be technically proficient with good knowledge of high performance storage solutions including Parallel Filesystems, NAS, SAN and object storage. You will ideally have a good working knowledge or background in HPC systems for research or use in AI with very large storage requirements. You will need hands on knowledge of Linux systems administration and an understanding of complex systems. The role will be client focused, and you will need the ability to present solutions and contribute to customer RFPs, RFQs and RFIs liaising with the broader team and partners within the industry. This is a subject matter expert role with clients that are highly technical and interested in the details of the solution involving complex problem solving. The role can be based anywhere in the USA with a 25% expectation of travel across the country. They offer a growing team at an exciting time for the organisation with a large number of exciting prospects within the growing HPC and AI arena. The position has good opportunity to progress and a host of learning.

Salary between $180 – 220k OTE plus good benefits
