Senior ServiceNow CMDB and Security Product Manager

My client is looking to add a Senior ServiceNow CMDB Data Integrity and Security Product Manager to their team. The role will see you working in close partnership with the CMDB Architect, this role will serve as the product owner for data-integrity and security-enablement initiatives within the ServiceNow platform team.

The Senior ServiceNow CMDB Data Integrity and Security Product Manager will operate as a value engineer, translating business problems, security risks, data-quality gaps, and user needs into prioritized platform initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Core responsibilities include:

·        Partner with the CMDB Architect to translate the overall CMDB strategy, architectural direction, and governance framework into prioritized data-integrity and security-enablement initiatives.

·        Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders and the CMDB Architect to improve the use of CMDB data across Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and remediation workflows.

·        Identify and prioritize improvements that help vulnerability and security-response teams use configuration data to identify affected services, understand business impact, determine ownership, and prioritize remediation.

·        Translate the CMDB Architect’s technical direction, stakeholder needs, control requirements, risk exposures, and user pain points into clearly defined epics, features, user stories, enablers, defects, and acceptance criteria.

·        Act as the voice of the customer for CMDB data-integrity and security-enablement initiatives during planning, refinement, delivery, and continuous-improvement activities.

·        Build trusted relationships with the CMDB Architect, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, application teams, service owners, and enterprise-platform stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

·        Demonstrated experience working with CMDB, configuration management, IT service management, cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or related enterprise-platform capabilities.

·        Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, ITSM, Security Incident Response, and Vulnerability Response.

·        Product Manager, Agile Product Manager, Scrum Product Owner, or ServiceNow certification.
