An excellent opportunity has arisen for a ServiceNow Technical Product Owner to join a growing enterprise technology function.
The role will focus on the continued development, optimisation and strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform, with responsibility for aligning technical capability with wider business priorities.
You will work across product, architecture, development and business teams to help shape the platform roadmap and ensure ServiceNow continues to deliver value across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as a key ServiceNow SME across architecture, design and product discussions.
- Supporting the development of the ServiceNow roadmap and operating model.
- Translating business and architectural requirements into technical solutions and recommendations.
- Managing and prioritising the product backlog alongside business Product Owners.
- Writing and refining epics, user stories, technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Evaluating new ServiceNow capabilities, tools and platform improvements.
- Providing hands-on configuration and development support where required.
- Supporting integrations, automation and technical solution design.
- Ensuring platform security, data integrity and performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve and optimise the ServiceNow environment.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience working with ServiceNow.
- Experience as a ServiceNow Product Owner, Platform Owner, Administrator, Developer or Technical Consultant.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, products and applications.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, development, automation and integrations.
- Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Experience managing backlogs, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
Desirable
- ServiceNow DevOps and CI/CD experience.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
- Previous involvement in ServiceNow platform strategy or operating model development.
