Access Bookings are a company that specialise in accommodation and travel for the media industry. With over 30 years travel logistics experience they are a market leader in their sector. This has been achieved primarily through an in house developed online management system that is the mainstay of the business.
The Recruitment Problems
Recruitment had been handled internally and from an IT perspective this proved unsuccessful. A prolonged interview process, poor quality of candidate application, geographical barriers and a high attrition rate led to them expanding their reach and seeking help.
We identified firstly where the process was falling short and suggested new methods to try and attract the best talent. One way was allowing us to pre-screen candidates on their behalf which in turn saved them a lot of time. We reached out to people within our network to also address the geographical obstacles they faced. Streamlining this process and moving away from traditional methods allowed them to meet the best individuals rather than losing them to other competitors based in bigger neighbouring cities.
We have opened the company up to a larger sphere of candidates and enabled them to target quality candidates quickly and efficiently. As a result they subsequently hired several people via Arden Resourcing.
