Frontend Web Developer (WordPress and JavaScript) – Bridgnorth/Hybrid

Salary: £24,000–£30,000 per annum

Our client, a well-established digital agency with a reputation for delivering high-impact web solutions, is currently seeking a Junior Web Developer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated junior developer to kickstart their career in a collaborative and creative environment. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to learn and keen to contribute to a variety of web projects from day one.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain responsive, engaging websites using WordPress

·        Build custom themes and plugins with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

·        Collaborate with designers and senior developers to bring creative concepts to life

·        Troubleshoot bugs and provide technical support across multiple projects

·        Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in web development

Key Skills

·        Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

·        WordPress development experience

·        Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

·        Understanding of RESTful APIs and AJAX

·        Knowledge of PHP is advantageous but not essential

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced team members
