WordPress Developer – Lincolnshire (Hybrid)

£35,000-£40,000

We are working with an award-winning digital agency to recruit a talented WordPress Developer to join their growing technical team in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of digital projects, including large-scale WordPress websites, bespoke Laravel platforms and innovative AI-driven solutions. You’ll work closely with designers, developers and digital strategists to build scalable, high-performing websites and digital experiences for a broad client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support modern WordPress websites

• Build custom WordPress themes and bespoke functionality

• Integrate and manage third-party APIs and services

• Contribute to AI-powered features, automation tools and internal platforms

• Collaborate with designers to deliver responsive, pixel-perfect front-end experiences

• Write clean, modular and well-documented code

• Support ongoing improvements, maintenance and optimisation across projects

• Contribute to technical decisions and development best practices

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in WordPress development

• Strong experience with custom WordPress themes, ACF, Gutenberg and bespoke functionality development

• Experience with PHP/Laravel or similar frameworks

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and integrations

• JavaScript experience, ideally with Vue.js or Alpine.js

• Experience using Git and modern deployment workflows

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Desirable Skills

• Experience with AI integrations and automation tools

• Knowledge of search technologies such as Algolia or Meilisearch

• Understanding of headless CMS architectures

• WooCommerce or ecommerce integration experience

• Familiarity with Tailwind, Vite or Docker
